Lindsey Scott Sr.

Speed and Agility Coach

lindsey_scott_13Lindsey Scott is a Baton Rouge native, and a 1993 graduate of Southern University A&M (Baton Rouge), where he earned a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science.  In 1998, Lindsey earned a law degree (Juris doctorate), and is the Senior attorney at The Lindsey Scott Law Firm.

While in college, Lindsey Scott was a three year starter at running back, where he led his team in rushing from 1991-1993.  In 1993, he was a integral part of a SU Team, that went on to when its Conference Championship (first time in more than 20 years), and a Associated Press National Championship.  Lindsey also became the second 1,000 yard rusher in SU history.  He also rushed for more yards in a single season, than anyone had since 1954.  Scott left Southern University as its second all-time leading rusher (currently fifth).  In 2003, Lindsey Scott was inducted into the Southern University Football Hall of Fame.

Professionally, Lindsey Scott spent two seasons in the Canadian Football League (CFL) (1994 Calgary Stampeders and 1995 Birmingham).  Lindsey has dedicated his life to athletics, and the teaching of young athletes.  He has been active as a youth track coach, and youth football coach, specializing in speed, agility, and strength training.  Currently he works with athletes of all ages.

George Tucker

Interior Line & Linebacker Coach

George Tucker is a native of Greensburg, Louisiana, and a 1991 graduate of Southern University A&M (Baton Rouge), where he earned a Bachelors in English.  In 1995, George earned a law degree (Juris doctorate) from SU, and is the senior attorney at the Tucker Law Firm.

While at Southern, George was a three (3) year starter at Defensive-end and Linebacker.  After college, George coached several years as an assistant at St. Helena High School.  Over the years, he has mentored countless athletes who have gone on to have successful college and professional careers.    He is dedicated to the implementation of effective training strategies, with an emphasis on interior lineman, and linebackers.

Kevin Lewis

Kevin Lewis

Kevin Lewis was raised in New Orleans and was a walk-on at Northwestern State University. Before earning a B.S. in business administration in 1988, Kevin earned Sporting News All-American honors in 1988. In 2007 he was inducted into the N Club Hall of Fame at Northwestern State University and Top 100 All Time Football Player.

Kevin went on to play for the San Francisco Forty Niners from 1990-1994 until an injury shortened his career. While with the Forty Niners he was part of the NFC Division Champions in 1990. He was the recipient of the NFL Extra Effort Award for outstanding leadership in the community.

In 2004 Kevin founded Pro Bound Performance in Atlanta Georgia. At Pro Bound Performance athletes are trained in the areas of speed, agility, quickness, foot work, flexibility, mobility and energy systems while reducing the risk of sports related injuries. Our proven defensive back camps focus on technique and confidence.

From 2010 to 2013 Kevin was the secondary coach at Hinds Junior College in Raymond Mississippi. In just his first year as secondary coach all four players in the secondary earned athletic scholarships to Division 1 colleges. Malcolm Butler is currently playing with the New England Patriots.

Career highlights: Freshman All-American in the 100m 10.29,4X100-39.19-1996 Penn relays. 55MH indoor champion1993-1994-1995 Purple tiger winner with a double in the 55m-55mh at Louisiana state all-comers meet. National Champion in the 110 high hurdlers. State Champion in the 110 meter hurdlers broke the state record with the time of 13.91. Followed-up with a second place 100m in a time of 10.45.Went undefeated junior and senior year.  Won world juniors with a time of 13.33 in Tokyo.

 

Collegiate career: Was apart of four National title indoor and outdoor.

Erick Franklin

Speed, Agility and Skill Positions Coach

Erick Franklin is a former 4 year starter at wide receiver and kickoff return for Louisiana Tech University. Erick is probably most remembered by his 2002 game winning TD catch versus Oklahoma State. Franklin is currently second in career kickoff return yards, with 1,873 yards, and is first in kickoff return yardage in a single season, with 887 yards.

Franklin also did a tour of duty in Arena Football with the Memphis Xplorers. He has coached at Spring Westfield in Spring, Texas, as well as the wide receivers coach at First Baptist Academy. Since that time Erick has trained countless athletes, many of which have signed college scholarships.
